Many years ago I was led to believe that they were for the Springfield. That could be wrong, though. They sure are great for the screwdrivers.

I got one with my Springfield cleaning kit. The garand tool has a chamber brush or chamber patch tool on it depending on which version you have.

Numrich Arms agrees with me:

1903 Springfield

Guy above is correct....its for an old springfield trapdoor...this one is a reproduction the originals say springfield and the the date 1890's of course.

Value....zip but they do work well for other uses.
