Oregon CWP in Schools Poll

Might as well show them what we believe in.

New school shooting in the news (not in Oregon). 14-year-old did it, then killed himself.

Since we have banned guns in schools, how could this have possibly happened????

I agree with CCws in public places..schools ect..

BUT..She should not be teaching. If she has a known problem that could be violent..she needs to be transfered to another job..admin or somthing..even though I wouldnt want here next to my office when her "alleged" husband goes apeshit...

I woudl not want her bringing her "Domestic crap" to my kids school.

She really screwed up saying.."its becuse of my husband"

It is idiotic to not allow someone the means to defend themselves along with the children that are entrusted to them in class.
If given the proper psychological evaluations, instruction on the handling and periodic updates there should be no reason to not allow them the tools to add security to the classrooms also.
I'm all for it, there are more of them to go around then police officers, and they're on location.
With their summer breaks, those that do and want to qualify, should be required to attend training during thier break before being permitted to carry.
Once trained there is no reason to believe they wouldn't be able to add more security then a, "gunfree zone" sign does.
