Pic of Dr. Evil
Here is my "Dr. Evil". A 13" barrel with fake Browning flashhider. It's DSA's Compact Elite frontend on an Imbel receiver and a STG58 lower. Also has TNT's para sight on it, for those of you who haven't seen them yet.
Soon to come, "MiniMe", a copy of this rifle only it will be a folder built on a pre-ban SAR48 receiver. ![]() Opinions please, how would this rifle look with OD Green finish and black furniture? That's a real good looker. I like the shorty front end.

I've got one of the Hesse receivers coming, maybe I'll build something and do a OD Green, Earth Brown and Black camo version. First I have to finish "MiniMe" to go with this one. By the way, sorry for two pics of the photo. I just bought a new digital camera today and was trying different downloads, I just got tired of editing my post. Oops forgot, it shoots pretty good. I had to bend the gas tube around a little to get gas piston to slide freely. I called DSA and asked for a solution and they told me that they use a wooden wedge and beat the thing under the tube until the piston moves freely. I need to take it out tomorrow after work and see if I can open up the gas port a little. Recoil is very slight because of the short barrel. I haven't put it on paper yet, been trying to work out the bugs. But then again, I don't expect a shorty to be a tack driver. It's for social work. ![]() [ July 30, 2001: Message edited by: idsubgun ]

Great looking FAL. I think a change of grip to the HKG3 style from VOW would give it that extra evil look.
