Madsen .308 "Light Automatic"

Just bumped into this .jpeg of a Madsen "Light Automatic" in .308. I hadn't seen one before and was just curious about the rifle in general. Anyone have any experience with these. I'm assuming this is military rifle, so no semi clones.

It was the last big effort of the Madsen company & they got out of the arms business.
It was to expensive to make, but they did offer it with a folding stock.

Indonesia did use & produced their light machine gun of the same caliber.

Fugly or not, let the betting begin on how soon someone WECSOGs a copy (if only visually)
