Think about it for a minute. How the hell does some pansy reporter in a flack jacket find out what the average street price of ammo is in Iraq? That guy/gal never goes more than a hundred feet from his hotel room. He doesn't know shit about ammo, guns, the language, the black market, the currency, or anything else that's going on outside the range of his Wi-Fi terminal. There is no "ammo resgistry" where you can go speak to the guy in charge ammo in Iraq and he will tell you what the price is. Its bull***t!

Here is how the conversation in Iraq went with the NPR reporter, the translator, and an Iraq citizen:
