Another StG58
Here's an StG kit I put together with a VOW pistol grip on a Type 3. It also has a Belgian hooded rear sight.

Looks good. How do you like that grip? Does it feel better when firing?
Bruce, Actually, this is a sympathy post, because no one else would say how nice it looks and I didn't want your feelings hurt. Really, though, how's the grip? Bill

HiYa Bill:
I like the grip - it fits my hand perfect, and IMO, adds a little more feel when I'm blasting away. I think I may get a couple more for other mostly black rifles (principally the G1 and the R1), since it looks a little more at home (re: evil) on those. Regarding the sympathy post....BWAHAHAHAHA!

Shoots better than I historically can. Four shots into a 4" circle at 100 yards in about 12-15 seconds offhand. That's very good for me. I never do any bench rest shooting.
The first forty rounds yielded two stovepipe jams, the remainder smooth as butter. I fured it just needed to burnish itself. I think the grip was $30 or $35. I like it. Thanks VOW Dan! Hanguards get hotter 'n hell. Reminder to self: Buy Chicken Mitts and matching hat.[ September 17, 2001: Message edited by: Gaspipe ]

What's the part number on that grip? It kinda looks like the tactical grip without the palm shelf? It looks really good on your rifle.
