TAPCO leather FAL slings
I ordered two of these. I ordered on line without talking to anyone and they came fast.
The slings look unissued and are nice thick leather. They are a little stinky but no mildew, they should air out fine. They fit the sling swivels fine and have plenty of length. I would say a definite BUY for $4.99.

I agree, they're a bargain. I saddle soaped mine in the tub then rubbed em with Tan antique leather stain followed by a good rub with "Mink" oil. I didn't like the way the buckle works, or didn't work, so I used a button I had on one. When I was in the leather store I got some rivets for another but havn't yet riveted on the bickle on it. It appears when or if I do it'll be permanent on the gun unless I cut the buckle off so maybe I'll either find some more buttons or snaps.
Still, a leather sling for less that $5 bucks is a bargain and I think everyone should include a few of these in their next Tapco order. |

I agree, good sling and they do stink. I hung mine up in my workshop to air out. Upon my return the next day, the room was filled with its reek.

Man, I must have been real lucky. Mine was brand new, never been used and didn't have anything other than the usual leather smell.
After looking at the way it rigs up I don't know if I'll use it, but like you guys said, at $5 you can't go wrong.
