I live, work, and play in some of the nations most prime BF habitat and have seen nothing, not even foot prints. Then, I have dug up the bones of every large mammal (and most small) known to have existed here in the last 10,000 years, no BF bones.

The only BF I have ever found is a really small characature of one in the Delormes WA atlas near Mt. St. Helens. I don't know the story behind these, but they are there in the maps and IIRC I found one in my OR one too.

We ain't got none of that superstitious mumbo jumbo here in Iowa. No bigfeet, Yetti, loch ness monster, Chippin Cabre, nothing. Hell we ain't even got any good hauntings. About the scariest thing we have around here is Bree with a firearm

There is Wendigo, who follows you through the forest. Every time to turn to look, he stops and hides, so you never see him. Wendigo killed a lot of pioneers until they invented the locomotive and the shotgun. Then he either got outrun or got his butt shot off.

There is also Yahoodi, which I think a lot of hunters mistake for Bigfoot.

ONe of my college friends had a Chewbacca Costume. ANyway one night he and his brothers got drunk and put it on. They went out to a highway in the middle of nowhere and when cars would come, they would cross the road in the costume, doing the bigfoot walk and everything.

Eventually a deputy was called to the area and they left.

Big Foot/Chupacabra

Being in South Texas myself, I can tell that the picture that W.E.G. posted is of a baby chupacabra, the fangs on the one in the picture are dull {for nursing from the mother} as they mature the fangs get very very sharp, that aids them in goat killing faster. They also kill chickens and sheep, but nothing larger, and they are to slow to catch a deer.

Here in Missouri we have some pretty smart Coyotes. I'd go so far as to call them "wiley". We're always finding empty "Acme Inc." boxes around in the woods.

Reminds me of Eddie Murphy's skit:

"Your wife's a Bigfoot, isn't she? Isn't she, Gus? That's why the bitch's moustache is so motherf*ckin' thick... 'cause you shaved the b*tch down and taught her to speak.

I know a motherf*ckin' Bigfoot when I see one! Don't bring a Bigfoot into my home, Gus! With my children? The b*tch can't talk, she can't walk a flight of steps! She's not trained well, Gus! She can *not* walk steps! I bet she climb the **** out a tree, though, don't she, Gus? Doesn't she? But you got to not bring her around here - **** her!

And your motherf*ckin' children? They're Bigfeet, too. They're half-Bigfoot, Gus, 'cause the motherf*ckers is 6 years old and have Afros 17 inches long. They're little hairy motherf*ckers just like their mother. Look at the motherf*ckers!

You know how I found out they was a Bigfoot - when I realized your kids was a Bigfoot? When I took your kids fishing last week. I put the motherf*ckers in the boat, Gus, and I took the worm and I put it on the hooks. And they both sat there, and they put their poles down in the motherf*ckin' boat, and slammed their faces in the water for 2 minutes! And I think, "What the **** are these kids doin'?"

Then they start moving their heads like this and the motherf*ckers come up with fish! I jumped back and said, "Can you believe this motherf*ckin' shit?" Then the kid took the fish out his mouth, looked at his brother and said, "Guni-gugu!"

Normal kids don't do shit like that, Gus. But I'll tell you somethin', motherf*cker. You can take your motherfuckin' hairy, fatass, wife-moustache-b*tch out the ****, you can go upstairs and get the motherf*ckin' dog, and scoop up the shit, and take Eddie, and get these long Angela-Davis-Afro-wearing motherf*ckin' kids of yours, and put them in the Guni-gugu-mobile and get the **** out! And if my wife don't like it, she can get the **** out, too!"

Discovered Footprints Stoke Yeti Mystery
By Gopal Sharma,
Posted: 2007-11-30 23:24:26

KATHMANDU (Nov. 30) - A U.S.-based television channel investigating the existence of the legendary Yeti in Nepal has found footprints similar to those said to be that of the abominable snowman, the company said on Friday.

A team of nine producers from Destination Truth, armed with infrared cameras, spent a week in the icy Khumbu region where Mount Everest is located and found the footprints on the bank of Manju river at a height of 9,350 feet.

Gopal Chitrakar , Reuters Josh Gates, host of the TV series "Destination Truth," holds a footprint supposedly similar to that of the legendary Yeti, aka the abominable snowman. "This print is so pristine...I am very intrigued by this," he said.

One of the three footprints discovered on Wednesday is about one foot long, or is of similar size and appearance as shown in sketches of the mystical ape-like creature believed to live in snowy caves, the TV company said.

"It is very very similar," Josh Gates, host of the weekly travel adventure television series, told Reuters in Kathmandu after returning from the mountain.

"I don't believe it to be (that of) a bear. It is something of a mystery for us," said Gates, 30, an archaeologist by training.

Tales by sherpa porters and guides about the wild and hairy creatures lurking in the Himalayas have seized the imagination of foreign mountain climbers going to Mount Everest since the 1920s.

Several teams have searched for it and some have even claimed to have discovered footprints.

But no one has actually seen the creature nor has it been scientifically established that the Yeti exists.

Gates said the footprints on lumps of sandy soil, which would be sent to experts in the United States for analysis, were "relatively fresh left some 24 hours before we found them."

"This print is so pristine, so good that I am very intrigued by this," Gates, flanked by his team members, said adding the findings would prompt more investigation into the Yeti.

Destination Truth chronicles some of the world's notorious crypto-zoological creatures and unexplained phenomena.

Some local sherpas believe that the Himalayas are abodes of strange creatures and consider the Yeti as a protector while others say it is a destroyer.

"There is a kind of mysterious creature that lives in the Himalayas," said Ang Tshering Sherpa, chief of Nepal Mountaineering Association in Kathmandu, who hails from the Khumbhu region were Mount Everest is located.

Do not be too quick to say Iowa does not have Big Foot. Go to BFRO.org or net or what ever it is. There is reports of BFs in Iowa. There is also trail cam pictures of a small BF taken this fall in NW Penn. You are not alone in the woods.

Hunter’s camera captures images of a ‘unicorn deer’
Antler deformations possible, expert says

http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregio...097.html?imw=Y

Roaming somewhere in the woods around Elma is the unicorn deer.

Captured on a motion-sensitive game camera, the adult deer appears to have a long antler sticking out of its head between it’s eyes.

“It looks like a unicorn deer,” said Dave Ebeling, the hunter-photographer who caught the deer on camera Oct. 16.

“I thought it was some kind of joke, but how can that be?” said the 46-year-old Ebeling, who added the photo was not retouched. “I got it [on camera].”

*
“I just wish somebody would shoot it so we’d know what that was,” Ebeling said.

There are TOOOO many rednecks out there with TOOOOO many guns for BF to be real. Many of them ole boys know how to hunt. There is NOTHING in the woods that is more slipery than a cat. If you can occasionally kill a cougar from a stand, someone somewhere would have drug one of them ole bigfoots out of the woods on the hood of their pickup by now

I thought they went extinct in 1980 when Mt. St. Helens munged-up their habitat. Kinda hard for something that big to outrun pyroclastic flow.

Where

I saw BIGFOOT.
When I saw him he had already hit the bigtime with agents and an entourage. See some of his better work below:

"Harry and the Hendersons".
It was a good show.

I also have a tape of a 2 part episode of "Six Million Dollar Man".
Bigfoot and more...'"Straight On Till Morning".

But alas, prejudice toward BIGFOOT prevented him from his well deserved Emmy
awards and major motion picture contracts.

I think he and some of his buds went to drink.
They can be seen sometimes begging for a few cents outside a 7-11 just east of Spokane. Do not enable them. Tell them to seek help. It's the better thing to do.

No BF sightings here in Indiana. We just get sightings of "big cats". Speculation is from about 75 miles north of Indy south to the Ohio river that there are several "big cats". Sightings have included Cougar looking types and also a "big black cat" similar to a black panther. Numerous calves and deer carcasses found and few tracks.

There was an escape of a female cougar last fall halfway between Indy and Terre Haute that hasn't been caught. But these sightings have been occuring for about 5 years. I give them some credability as there seem to be a rash of sightings in an area of about 10 mile radius for a few days and then a week or so later 25-50 miles away another rash of sightings occur.

One friend of mine was in a deer stand before dawn and heard a "BIG CAT" roar too close by for comfort. He locked and loaded and stayed still until dawn and boogied fast.

Indiana DNR refuses to confirm or deny the cats presence.

Don't bother shooting one if you get the chance. The one I got a few years ago up in the Adirondack Mountains was more trouble than it was worth. The pelts are riddled with lice, mites and dirt, smell horrible, and the meat doesn't make jerky worth a sh*t. I ended up grinding it all up for dog chow.

OOPS! I just had a thought. Is the "Bigfoot" considered an endangered species?

Have you NM guys thought about having a chupacabra hunt? Stake out a goat in a likely area, hang out in a blind nearby with some FAL's and NVG's. LOL.

We did, but several of our Thugs didn't return. English Mike was the only surviver, but we think the Chupacabra didn't like how he tasted.

I am a scientist first I must have proof, and while there are stories across the years across nations and different people some reliable some not all come up with similar stories, my take is there is something out there but dont think it is bigfoot but some animal, hell anyone who has spent time in the deep woods the few wild spots left there is something "watching" you all the time. anyways i think you get my drift.

I met a bigfoot at the dr's office. He had knee problems and was on SS disability for diabetes.

He had a gutteral accent and admitted that he and his small clan were native americans who mated with the Norseman and got hairy. They speak a form of nordic and native american, like cajuns do.. Most live near railroad tracks in the wild and no one likes them due to the smelly genetic body hair thing. He knows nothing about distant cousin yeti, except that he must be crazy to live in the mountains.

He is pissed at all you guys who shoot at him and hinted that there are more missing hunters than bigfeet.

Says if you smell fish and garlic in the woods, RUN!!!

Bigfoot is like global warming, rumored to exist, but actually non-existant.

It's ten thousand actually

Ten thousand Swedes ran through the weeds
At the Battle of Copenhagen
Ten thousand Swedes ran through the weeds
Pursued by one Norwegian.

Question

Are 215 grain .308s better than 150 grainers for Bigfoot?
