k31 accuracy?

Just wondered what kind of accuracy everyone has achieved with their k31 and what ammo they was using. I went to the range the other day and was getting 1 1/2 inch groups at a hundred yards with prvi partisan 174 sp ammo.. I was completely amazed i did not think this rifle would be capable of the kind of accuracy. i was just in total shock. iron sights and all. so hit me back with some of your all results just wondered if this is typical or is my rifle just exceptionaly accurate

I think you'll find most K31 owners will report roughly the same or better results, assuming they are doing their part. If you do a search on K31s, I'd be surprised if you didn't see reference to "accuracy", "great trigger", "built like a Swiss watch" at least once in every post.

The best I've gotten out of mine is about 2 MOA ten round groups, using Privi Partizan (Wolf Gold).

When I am off the caffiene, rested my eyes and have no other distractions, mine shoots 1-1.5" at 100yds all day long with the standard swiss milsurp. Sweet rifle. Used it at Moses' rifle shoot two weeks ago for the 300yd sniper match. Dinged those 8x12" plates very easily.

One I tried with original swiss was grouping real well with 2.5 scout scope - hitting tin cans at 238 (lazed) yards with regularity - it seemed to shoot very flat for an older cartridge

mine used to put 5 in a inch with gp11. some guys can pull off tighter groups but it was a great shooting gun

They are most generally shooting tight groups especially with GP11 ammo. The ammo is match grade as well as the rifles. Mine shot a 3 shot group with all touching at 100 yds. All of the rifles were meticulously fitted and bedded. Mine has the most polished beautiful bbl of any firearm I have ever owned. Graff and Sons sells St. Maries scope mounts. Well worth the money.
