I haven't seen any of TAPCO's mags. So, I can't comment on their stock. But, a buddy of mine bought a NIW Tommy Gun mag from some gun-show vendor the other day. When the wrap came off, it was coated in rust.

The Good People at the FalFiles are called just that, because of their caring ways.
I Truely appreciate Both of your Kind Warnings!
Although! You just made me open My Perfect, Bran New In Wrap Fal Metric Mags!!!
I no longer own a In the wrap Set of Ten Mags!! Thanks fella's!

It's OK! They and their wraps are Very Very Dry, and probably would have rusted not too far into the future. So I'll oil them up, and put them away.
THANKS!--DOUBLE THANKS!!

I was not sure I wanted to order them.
Do you think it would be a big deal to use them in an L1a1?
I know they might be a little loose.
I just don't know how bad. If they just fall out that would be bad. I still would order them I think.
I have a few inch now but I would love to own new?

I hope they are alright, because I just ordered 30 of them the other day. But TAPCO will take care of you if you have a problem.

Hey gw11, I am going to open mine. Will be worth more opened & rust free than not opened & rusted. OH, by the way, someone pointed out over at ar15.com the rust was actually dried up grease

They still have these in stock? That must've been some warehouse. Maybe I should buy another box. Argh! You guys are turning me into a magaholic. I couldn't resist opening mine. They're even better than the new Argie mags that AIM had early last year. No thick coating of grease to deal with.

I opened All of the packets and all are Perfect,Rusts and Grease Free. These are Stick EM in your gun Mags.
Banholt
These should work fine. I have never seen a Metric mag just fall out of an L1A1. But I guess it is possible! Sometime they are even Tight.

Life is good when 20rnd mags are $5 /each.

Doesn't make me miss buying AR mags one little itty bitty bit!

Mag-a-holism with an FAL is much more managable... really... it is... i can control it... i can...

... can i?
