garrage test firing tube

just curious as to how many use a firing tube for testing weapons at home ...pipe filled with sand and flak jacket material in layers ...love the sheeite out of mine ...sure does save time ..neighbors never hear a thing .......308 kinda makes the lid jump but what the hell ...works great

Luckily, I can just step to the back door and let 'er rip. But I have a friend who lives in town, so what about a drawing or somesuch so we can make one for ourselves...?

6" pipe ...3/4 plate bottom...top ...8" pipe...3/4 plate 3" inlet and hole with rubber (old tire) inside port ...fill with sand and layer or just sand and flak jacket fibre as an overlay for the sand on top 2-4 inches ...(no spatter and some sound supression ....sound like pounding nails with the doors closed ...

Outside of every Marine Corps armory is a 55gal drum full of sand set at a convient angle with a sign that says "Clear Weapon Here"
