Found a CAI receivered L1A1 for $600. Don't really need another one and it doesn't have the flash suppressor. The attachement piece on the end of the barrel is there, just not the brake.

GPG has a cool one you can put on it, I have the same thing I had the barrel cut to 18 in and put his flash hider on it if you like noise it's great, is it called the sport er? Check the barrel and see if it is lose had to lock tite mine back on shoots fine.

You had to locktite your barrel into the receiver? That doesn't sound good. There should be enough torque on it to keep it from moving. You may want to talk to one of the professional smiths on the board.

Yup I was advised by a Pro. Smith here ( I don't remember his Name or handle but has always had good advice on this site) to put lock tite on the threads crank it down and your good to go so I did so Far no problems put about 100 rnds. threw it so far and still no problems, The CAI was My first complete FAL since then I have put together 5 others in the past years THANKS TO FAL FILES and the ARS Manual they all work great, the CAI is the only one I put lock tite on. Actually I thought everyone on this site had some good advice about FAL'S
