DSA G1 came today!

This is my first build so I don't have much to compare it to, BUT I was impressed! The bore is fantastic. I ordered the park kit and the front end looks like new. The bottom half looks great also. I don't know why but they sent me two sets of furnature. The kit had a new looking handguard and pistol grip and very nice stock installed (some scratches on the stock). There was a wood stock in the box (looked like it lost a fight with a beaver) and a somewhat bent handguard, with a slightly scratched pistol grip. I couldn't be happier.

The DSA refinish comes with a set of "new) Styer handguards and a new Styer PG. They must hav included a buttstock because your wood stock was so bad. Mine came with a wood BS that looked like it was shaped by an 8 year old. I'm replacing it with a Penguin BS.

Good luck with your build.

I agree with newFALguy, the kit is great, but my wood looked like it was shaped by a bored old Turkish man without his smokes.

I am using an Izzy stock until I fix this one, find a Belgium, or more than likely a Ironwood stock.

Have fun, I am ready to put my kit togeather and into a living machine again.

Got mine today also! I also got a plastic butt stock which was mounted and the wooden butt stock with hardware separate. The wood is dinged up, but nothing that can't be steamed out. I'm doing Jeter's "WECSOG" dishwasher trick right now and will steam out any remaining dings this weekend. I'm very impressed with the fit and finish of the kit.
