a barrel wrench that works!!!!!!no kidding

this is a great tool i built it has the same dimentions as fal barrel at the flats.
it works somewhat like a pipe wrench using compound leverage the harder you push the harder it holds.
it will not damage your barrel!!!
the cnc shop that is making it for me said
the production prototype should be ready on friday. we hope to keep the cost under $25.

so please post your thoughts it will help us know how many to make

thanks

ps barrel vice fore sale don't work
ran out of #50 of lead & magic dust
not enough to hold that stubborn fal barrel.

Great! Show us pictures ASAP!
Price is right too.
My machinist friend just hurt himself and I have to wait for a few weeks now to have him make one for me.

If it's under $25, count me in for one when they are ready (soon, I hope!).

Is this for metric or inch barrels? They're not the same.

One for us. Maybe more if we save on shipping and get a group discount

I had one of the barrel vise's from Gunthings built and it is wonderful.

I have swapped barrels on 2 FAL's and built another kit and wish to God I had it earlier.

It actually takes longer to bolt the barrel into the vise than it does to index a barrel in a receiver.

Not trying to steal your thunder FALFITTER but the thing sure works well.

Since I have not used it and cannot offer a review yet I'll plug it here. I received Gunplumbers barrel vice yesterday. It is nicely machined from aluminum bar stock. It is engraved "FN FAL & L1A1 Barrel Blocks" on the face, with an arrow indicating which way the receiver end is mounted. Casey Elliot's receiver wrench and sizing rods are enroute so hopefully I'll be able to give a review soon. It was $30.
