FAL 10 mag waist belt w/ shoulder straps

Super deal at $17.97 each from Sportsmen's Guide. Stock number: X1M-56735. These are "used" in that they sat in storage for a long time and have some dirt on 'em. Mine look unworn. They have 3 double mag pockets on the right side and 2 on the left side. They are similiar to the BAR mag belts (except the mags fit better). Both have metal bar & hook waist fastener and "FIX" snap-on pouch fasteners. Light OD color, 1968 date, initials "J.P." and number A100-70-00513. Canadian, perhaps?

They are supposed to be Belgian, the folks who ought to know say they are. Here is a link to an earlier thread. BTW one of the pouches on the right side is for a cleaning kit most likely. Dan. 8 mag carrier

I bought several at the Tulsa show from Northridge. I must have got some lemons because only an 800 pound gorilla can get 2 fal mags in each pocket. They go in ok but the flaps on mine will not stretch enough to lock over the closure stubs. Anyone else have this problem?

Wet em and stretch em with a wooden block or blocks cut slightly larger than the mags. Once they dry they will take a set and they will be fine.
Regards,
Jim
