Anyone used Ironwood's L1A1 walnut?
If so, how'd you like the fit, etc.? And did the wood components match pretty closely in color, grain, etc.?
Thanks. |

I'm happy with the set I got to build a C1A1 clone. Don't forget to order the popsicle stick for the PG, it's a separate item.

Tung oil gave a perfect match on the Butt/PG/HG set I have - a small amount of trimming was needed to fit the butt pad & tang. The trigger plunger hole on the PG needed a little work too - less than ten minutes in total.

Yes, it's nice. It may require a small amount of fitting, but nothing major.
You will need to provide a new popsicle stick for the handle, or refinish an original one to match.
