TOPTEN: Combat Rifles, #5: FN-FAL

Psh... The Discovery channel gave the AK-47 the number 1 spot...

.. stupid cheap junk rifle beat the FAL... :\
(although it is agreeable that the AK is a better rifle performance/maintenance/accuracy-wise...)

What data or reasoning brings you to the conclusion that the AK is more accurate than the FAL?

I believe the discovery channel gave those reasons for picking it as #1. I have issues with DC's reasoning on the order of their picks (but almost everyone does).

I have never seen an AK shoot much of a group. That is why I bought a Saiga-12 for my "AK."

it looked at the all round del with the ak, it needed to be soldier proof, combat accurate,and avaliable anywhere. gotta admit 50 million is a lot of avaliable..
