Tapco's T6 Furniture For Ruger 10/22
What a pleasant surprise. With ammo prices going so high, shooting the .22 LR has become the economical thing to do. I received my Tapco T6 furniture today and immediately installed it. Very easy to do and really is a solid, sturdy, ergonomic design. I thought it might be a bit flimsy, but it is very solid. Length of pull is only slightly short and that's due to my gorilla long arms. Lots of built in goodies, too. Picatinny rail on top of handguard and a hidden (covered) Picatinny rail on the underside as well. Handles virtually perfectly and will bring lots of fun to a rifle that has sat in my safe for years.
As you can see in the photo, the cover for the underside handguard rail has a smooth, comfortable surface. You can use either a straight stock tube if you plan on using an optic or a downward canted stock tube for open sights. As usual, great job Tapco. You got the ol' 10/22 out of the safe and will save me lots on ammo.

Price is right around $100. The set comes with two buttstock tubes. One is straight and is for open sights. The other is canted downward and is more appropriate when using optics. Haven't had a chance to get out and shoot it yet, but I will post here after I've done so.

Makes the Ole 10/22 look all together different, I like it.
I bought one of these for one of my SKS's when GPG first started selling them. Quality does indeed seem to be very good, and it is quite sturdy. Have not taken it out to the range since installing it though.. I need to make sure I bring it along next range trip..
