Do I need these 2 parts?

Good day to all,
I am building a metric lower reciever from parts bought in the US. My previous lower was an inch L1A1 reciever. Looking at a metric parts diagram I noticed 2 parts that weren't on my inch lower.

They are: 77. Selector Spring Retaining Pin
78. Selector Spring

Do I need to order these parts seperatey? What do they do? Why does an inch lower not have them?

Thanks,

SIG552

Your inch reciever had them. They are built into the selector switch. You shouldn't have to buy these seperate as they are built in.

Check your selector out. See the little nubby thing that rubs up against the lower, to keep it in the divots for Safe and Fire. It's on the opposite side of the thumb extension. These are parts that in inside your selector. You won't need them. They're built in.
