AK Left Handed Sling?

So I finally have my Romy AK set up JUST the way I've wanted to, after having gone through almost every stock set out there, every sighting system, I mean, EVERYTHING...
The one thing I have NOT found, however, is a satisfactory sling system for it. I seem to be cursed with being right handed, but left eye dominant-therefore, this forces me to shoot lefty. Normally this poses no problem at all (and the AK's operation seems to come naturally to me, but carrying the rifle with a sling seems pretty impractical, what with the left-side forward sling swivel.
I've seen some of these ak slings claiming to be "ambidextrous", and have heard conflicting things about them, most notably the "specops" brand of ak sling-is it any good for leftys?
In the event that no one's made a left handed sling..would one of those "universal" shotgun slings, the kind that fit around the buttstock and the forward end of the gun (no swivels, assume it just works on tension from the pictures I've seen and the ones I've seen at Academy) work?
My main requirement is being able to readily, and without unbalancing the weapon (as I have found with the "normal" ak sling), go from a carrying position to using the sling as a means to steady my aim while in the standing position...
If I need to just simply learn to work with the realities of AK slings, I think I can do that, but surely someone must have worked out something by now?

I wonder if one of the underfolders could be made 'lefty'? probably not what you are looking for..

The stock on the AK is a fixed normal type- I gave up on my e. german side folder a little while back, except to install it when I feel like beating myself up
