Gunsmith-Tony's pet load

Well I got to the public range today. When I first put the targets up I noticed that they seemed small. I always thought it was 100 yards but another said that it was 115-120.

On to the test. I walked some rounds in to get close (4) and let her rip. I shot 10 and 10. first 10 were

LC brass
CCI 34 primers
147 FN bullets
and 40.8Gr of 2460

I do not know if it was me or the load but I seemed to have 2 groups of 5.

Now when I had seen his load I had a bunch of Aussie brass primed with WLR primers so I loaded up 10 of them

AFF 91 brass
WLR primers
147 FN bullets
And 40.8 Gr of 2460

The 2 flyers I called. The one on the right I just pulled it and the one low I lost the sight in the target (sorry old eyes) Overall I see great promise with this load. Just need to tweek it to use the 34 primers since I now have a bunch of them. Std Fal, SA barrel 21" Stock irons somewhere about 115 yards.

Looks like one of my typical groups. On the surface, not a super-accurate load. But then, it may be neither the rifle nor the load. For I suspect both are capable of tighter groups...than I.

I did notice that I mad a mistake on the marking. it should be 1-3/4 " (inches) not feet.
