Maryland AWB In The Works

And so the fun begins! The Dems didn't waste ANY TIME AT ALL submitting their new AWB to the Maryland Legislature, now that they have complete control of the legislature and the state house! It's set to take effect on 1 October 2007 (assuming that it passes, and it will), so all you Marylanders better get whatever you want before then!

Time to move to Free America!

OBTW Rosapepe (sp) one of the sponsers is my guy. WTF kind of name is that anyway...shouldnt that be some kind of spice or box of wine or something? I missed him at my door by a few minutes back in October when I was out shopping.

He beat out the guy who was the swing vote in the judiciary comittee a few years ago when they tried to pull this shit in '04. He was a Dem who brother Bob swayed.

If anyone thinks MA gun laws are bad... they're about to get worse.

The new Dem Liberal pin-head Governor has pledged to enact a "one gun a month" bill and background checks on all firearms transactions.

And if that's not bad enough, there's the very real likelihood of the legislature passing a California style AWB.

yeah if it passes im outta here. i already have enough gripes about how the state goverment got involved in the power business, imports the inner city to nice suburbs, taxes us to death and indoctrinates our kids. the only good thing about maryland are all of the defense jobs.

Death by a thousand cuts is what it is called. It will spread, it will gain popularity, and it will arrive at your doorstep at some point. Maybe you won't be alive anymore when it does, but your kids or kids' kids will be.

I fills my heart with pain to see the U.S. of A. slowly turn into socialist europe. And please be aware that even Europe is still falling (by the same thousand cuts method) into a downward spiral of whatever comes next, communism, totalitarianism, or some other type of oppression.

But maybe it won't go that far, maybe the economy collapses before that type of shit hits the fan. If that's the case then you, or your kids, will have other shit to deal with. Whatever the future brings, it sure would be nice to have access to some serviceable firearms and a case of ammo.

The land of the free grows smaller. For those whom turn in thier security and surrender weapons to the leaders are being lead. Those that move are avoiding that, that will eventually catch up with them, and are still being lead. Lead out of town. Will we all end up in one last hold out back to back? Will we have to have mass defiance at the last minute, with marching armed citizenry? What odds would we be against; the militaries we support with the taxes we pay, that are not supposed to legally be able to be called against its citizens? If they can take our defense they can send thier armies we support. If voting doesn't work what is our next form of organization to defend our selves as citizens of The United States of America. I wonder if any of us have the intestinal fortitude that our Forfathers had. Jeff

come west young man (to new mexico). i went shooting yesterday, about 2 miles from my house, at the edge of town. it was cold an windy, but i shot my fal, russky m44, and glock to my hearts content out to ranges of 300 m or so, by my self, no fees, no hassle. new mexico might fall under the ax someday (like colorado apparently will) but not in the near future. the democrats here are still the old school type and gun toters, but there is an influx of cali commies into santa fe, albuquerque, and other areas, but so far the numbers are not overwhelming (yet). the thought of living anywhere east of arkansas gives me the willies. hopefully the lack of employment here will keep the state from getting overrun.

Damn it sounds like Illinois. Eventually the Chicago machine that propelled Obama bin Laden into the senate will go this route as well AND it was the Chicago vote. There are not enough people in downstate to offset that bloc.

Last year I moved to Tennessee from Illinois. I moved to:
A state without a Firearm Owner ID.
A state with no wait on any gun purchase as long as you pass a background check.
A state with a weapons carry permit.
I have not missed my old pathetic state one bit.

And to add... There is not one DAMN thing that can be done to get rid of the laws that the Dems have passed or will pass there in the future while they have control. My advice is that if your state passes some crap legislation, move to a state where your vote will count.
