G1 gas tube
Are these short or long? And soldered or threaded?
I'm planning on building a LB Izzy copy and don't have a long tube. Would I be asking for trouble by removing a short working tube to swap?

Don't plan on swapping just the tube. You will need the whole gas block, as most short-tube StG58's are brazed and have no threads.

Sounds like the Izzy furniture would be better suited for the G1 kit.

Can you give us some more specifics, such as what make of barrel you are using. A true Izzy barrel uses a slightly different gas tube and piston. DSA has both available. But, the gas tube is dependent on the barrel and gas block, not the type of configuration you are building.
