Auto-Ordnance product review

http://www.thesixgunjournal.net/aoww2.html

Sounds similar to other reviews I've read on AO. Anyone have any positive/negative experiences with this particular brand?

the front sight fell off and the barrel bushing cracked-other than that it was ok for a service grade 1911-I replaced it with a SIG and never looked back

I had an actual AO 1911. Had nothing but trouble with it. But then I have had 3 1911s that I have had nothing but trouble with. Save your money and buy a HK USP. You will not be sorry.

I had a group of manufactures provided by the Army and I have two Colts. Never had one problem with any of them. IMHO the 1911 is the best combat handgun ever made. When the SHTF make mine 1911!
