Sportsman's Guide Wolf .223

Remember a long time ago when SG had the special on Wolf .223? Well I hung in there, called earlier and was issued a $20 rebate and the case finally came in today. Ended up costing me $118.95, which is pretty decent at today's prices.
I've really been impressed with their service. Also ordered 2 of the green, wool British commando sweaters for $13 ea. They were used and had patches sewn in, but they were almost new. Think I'll continue to do business with them.

But at times, when we laughed, we grew young. If he was here now, if he could hear what I say, I'd congratulate him on being a great man, and thank him for being a friend.

Did it come with a stiff rod for knocking the stuck spent cases out of the chamber?

I never have a problem with Wooooof ammo. Does your AR have a chrome-lined chamber?

"Did it come with a stiff rod for knocking the stuck spent cases out of the chamber?"

yawn....

Shot the hell out of it in M4 clone w/ 14.5" Bushy chrome lined barrel (w/ phantom muzzle device to make legal), and two Daewoos (Maxx II and AR-100). Not a singe malfunction or complaint out of ny of the rifles. Friends also used it their AR based rifles as well as an AK platform. Not a single complaint from them either.

Wolf I used was the grey poly coated 62 grain FMJ.

Possibilty that some rifles may not like it...especially home builds (W.E.G.?)...sure. If your rifle doesn't like it, PLEASE send the commie ammo my way! I'll pay ya' what you paid for it, excluding shipping costs.

I've talked to several friends who have shot cases of Wolf through their ARs with no extraction problems. The new coating on the steel case (gray) extracts well. I've shot quite a bit of Wolf through my chrome lined barrel, but not quite a case yet. Many of the shooters at the three gun competitions I go to use Wolf ammo.
BTW, my previous source was Sportsman's Warehouse where it sold for $3.19/box. They keep telling me they expect more, but if it ever comes in I'm sure the price will go up.

It is not always an extraction problem. My M16A1 goes paws up after 3-400 rounds because the bolt will not rotate in the carrier due to all the crud in there. The piston guns run fine with it.
