Hi,
Does anyone have a drawing of the mod that need to be done to a cetme to make it a legal semi. I've been lurking over at the Cetme board but no luck. I am reluctant to join cause it feels like im cheeting on my wife.

CETME needs a trigger pack mod because it doesn't have a semi-auto receiver system.
Go ahead and visit the CETME Board (which you using). We still love you! And I have a CETME also, pristine, LNIB, shot at the arsenal it looks, and nowhere else! The CETME is like any import AW kit: it needs qualifying US parts, and must be converted to a Class I device. Modifying the trigger pack installs a shelf IIRC. This blocks auto function. I am not well informed about the CETME/G3 systems, so I'll defer to any RKI. They use delayed roller blowback BTW, not pistons.

I have been trying to talk someone into manufacturing Cetme hammer & sear, but no luck so far. Bill at Tapco is our best bet and he says they may be available down the pike sometime. I am holding onto my cetme trigger pack, but when I go to shoot it, I drop in a pack from one of my G3s to make it legal. Evidently Century makes hammer, sears, but they aren't customer oriented enough to offer them to you or I. Let's get a referendum going and demand service!

What a wonderful thing it would be to visit your own funeral. To sit at the front and hear what was said, maybe say a few things yourself. Michael and I grew old together. But at times, when we laughed, we grew young. If he was here now, if he could hear what I say, I'd congratulate him on being a great man, and thank him for being a friend. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --the forty-four spoke and it sent lead and smoke, and seventeen inches of flame. ----Marty Robbins |

Better off trying to get Harold to make some.
You might find some good things on the CETME page. [ April 27, 2002: Message edited by: DerbyFALs ]

Contact Big50 on this board. He does the Cetme lower group mods and the G-3 mods.
I am sending one to him soon. From what I've seen his turn around is a little slow(I think he has a REAL job too.) but his prices seem reasonable. Goodluck Andy |
