CGW (Century Gun Works) Refinishing Service
Had my STG-58 refinished by Rich of CGW. SUPERB craftsmanship and well worth the wait. Selected the CEN-TAC 9H satin black finish. Made the '58 look awesome!
The '58 had been a used gun to begin with and the finish was badly damaged in shipping from the seller to me. I replaced the pistol grip and Rich did his magic on stripping the other parts and making them look like new. If you need refinishing work done, I highly recommend Rich @ CGW. Nice!
I've had Rich build two rifles for me and they are both excellent. Careful, these things are contagious! (Rich is trying to talk me into getting a para now!)

Rich at CGW is the man…fully half of my collection has been run thru him for refinish work. I know some of the FN-49 purists here scoff at my Argie’s but if you want to really get a feel for Rich’s work look at the FN-49 pics on his web page. To say that those things were rough on the outside when he got them is the understatement of the year. Now they are some of the best looking (and shooting) .308’s I own.

Rich built my set of Triplets and when I get nore time and money I have 3 more I need built by Him.
An L1A1 from SLR 5000 on a DSA Inch receiver. An R1 with Ironwood stock set in Maple and a DSA Type 2, it's for my wife so it has to be prettied up with nice wood and H&K satin black guncoat. And a PARAmutt for me to have in my truck. I wish I could make the trip NOW, but finances are hurting since my son broke his left forearm snowboarding................

Cut ALL tax rates personal and business to 11%, abolish all unconstitutional federal agencies. It'll hurt but it would help us as a country. |

I'd be interested in hearing from the people that have done work through CGW in terms of the services they had done, prices, and turnaround time. Feel free to PM me.

Rich has done barrel work for me on 2 different occasions. Each time the job has done to my satisfaction and the turn around has been fast. I believe his prices are fair. He's a good guy to deal with! Spambo
