ELCAN Specter DR on an FAL

http://www.riflescopes.com/departmen...cal_sights.htm

What do y'all think of putting a Specter DR on an FAL? Yeah, it's expensive - but so was the FAL.

I really like the idea of switching between 1x and 4x with the throw of a lever, plus the additional illumination options. I don't get as excited about Tritium as most folks and prefer long life battery operated illumination systems.

Thoughts?

Pretty cool. You get an Aimpoint and ACOG in one! Its calibrated for 5.56 though. That would look really good on an FS2000.

5.56 and .308 are similar enough in trajectory for the calibration to be close enough. Depending on your load and barrel length you probably wouldn't notice a difference till past 400 yards especially if you have less than a full length barrel.
