Problem with Grenadier COP mount
Hey all,
I just got mine today in the mail. It fits tight on the upper, BUT it's very hard to completely close the rifle. I found that if I give it a light "whack" with a rubber mallet, it closes up the rest of the way. Is this normal? Thanks Rich |

That's how it should fit.

That's not how mine fits but it is very tight and no front to back movement, with just a little daylight comming through on the front non-ejection side, but tight up top. They made sure they fit most popular receivers so there may be a little variance here and there. Mine is on a non-carry handle cut DSA.

I got mine yesterday, too. It went on my, no CHC, DCI with a little palming. Fits snug, and I did have to give a little extra into closing up. I figure thats a good thing, as I'm sure it will wear into position.

A nice tight fit is a good thing as long as you can still remove it.

I have an ARMS #4 on my para.
I had to slam it shut with gusto to get it to close. Actually distorted the nose of the mount just a bit when it finally closed. Fits tight as hell now. Good to go.
