Ballester Molina...Help

After cocking my Ballester Molina, put the safety on, pull the trigger (safety on), release safety.....the hammer drops. Is this normal for this gun? If not, any suggestions for repair? Thanks! SB

Note: just bought this on Gunbroker.

No, that is not normal, somthing is wrong with your pistol. Take it to a qualified gunsmith and have it fixed before you try to shoot it.
