A FAL I built for my buddy
Just got finished yesterday. Started getting it together back in late september of last year. It's a hybrid - some of the best parts from both inch and metric - I like to take the best of both and merge them into the best platform for me.
US parts: DSA HTS, Hesse CAI receiver, Penguin BS/HG/PG Gun parts consist of: South African lower, Inch sand cut carrier and bolt, Izzi mag release, Imbel barrel cut, crowned and threaded for a custom cut down STG stoll device permanantly affixed. Overall barrel length is 16.5". Tapco stripper clip top cover with Tasco pro-point installed for now. Inch folding charging handle. Hesse CAI receiver is L1A1 cut, so it'll take inch mags as well. Best of both worlds = versitility. sorry for pic quality, camera sucks...
