SOLID STOCK AK question?

I know I could prolly go to another Forum and ask this...
But there is NO OTHER forum, and since I like it here I'll just ask away..

Me think since I do not presently have a SOLID Stocked AK (Other than the ROMY I did for my Son) that I may want to do one in a FUTURE AK build.
Keeping in mind that I would like to use a STANDARD AK Receiver IE: GLOBAL, or one I bend Myself.

Soo what is a "COOL" Solid stocked AK varient, and where can I find one?

An AK-74!! Where was my Brain?? In PLUM Polymer, or the ORANGE Laminate Both/Either would rock big time!
Hell another 5.45 Would be PERFECT..

A Russian AK W/Laminated furniture would be a very authentic Variant for sure..
Most excellent suggestions..

Looks like I need a "COUPLE" kits..

Will want to due a couple builds myself as well. Need kits that fit my ability?
Already got two Romies..

They sure have some cool looking stuff on that Linky..
I find myself drooling over there pretty often.

My first vote is for the Bulgarian 5.45. However, if you want a .30 you could buy one of those beautiful Polish underfolder kits, sell the folder & turnion, round up a standard trunion and a nice Polish laminated butt.

I would have to say that ANOTHER 5.45 is HIGH on my List for sure..
The Underfolder happens to be a KIT I already own.. I bought two when they were still nice from Centerfire. I built one, and stashed the Other..

So that would be dooable although I don't know if I could bring myself to seperate the kit?
I will prolly just do another U/Folder someday?

Get a POLISH underfolder from Brad at Gunsthings.com. The Polish AK47 is the BEST machined of ALL the AK's....the make GREAT rifles in ANY configuration....

Check that place out, plenty of badass synthetic (Polymer and Polyamide) stocks. I have three of my four AK's with the AK-103 style stocks. 2 black, one OD.

So buy an additional Polish underfolder kit. Build it as a fixed stock gun & stash the folder hardware. One day down the road when we are awash in some new fixed stock version from ??? you will be the only guy on the block building one of those as an under folder. Cool parts have a very long self life.

The POLISH Underfolders are in FACT some awesome KITS..
