I got some a couple of years ago and they are as advertised. They work fine in my FN. However, now you can get OEM MecGars for just a few bucks more.

I went to Cheaper than Dirt and picked up their 15 round Korean army Hi-power mags. Just a small pad on the bottom and two more rounds. Have worked like a charm in my FM which is now in detective mode 4 inch tube. I like the 2 extra bangs it gives me. One rides in the pistol for 16 and I have the original 13 rounder as back up. I will get a couple of more of these soon. They can also be had in 17 rounds but those are too long for my taste. 15 rounder looks good.

if you have a C&R you can get NIB Mec-Gar from Brownells for quite a bit less than that.

The detective conversion is great. Shoots better than the full size original slide and barrel. I will probably never put the full size together again. I also have a Ceiner (sic) .22 conversion for it too. Gives me plenty of cheap practice with the grip, safety and trigger feel of the 9. Don't have to huint for brass in the grass either. I just got a Para Ordanance 1911 and what ever holster I get for this comander size gun the hi power will fit too. I'm all for maximizing my arsenal, getting the mostest for the leastest.

What do I have to do? Fax them a copy of C&R?

Dang, I knew I could have saved some $$$ by getting Curio & Relic.

Maybe a silly question from your point of view but, aren't there any original Belgian 13rd. mags out there? They all come with a 13 rd mag here.
