Original Lone Ranger Barlow knife.
My dad has an original Lone Ranger Barlow knife that he bought for 50 cents back in the 1940's. My grandmother confiscated it for one reason or another and it laid in her sock drawer for nearly 50 years when my dad retreived it after her death.
The shape is fair. It has never been sharpened but the years have taken some toll. The blades have dark spots where rust started to form and I used plain oil to rub as much off as I could (using a paper towel only, no abrasives).
Anyone have an idea about the value?
From time to time the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
One day, in the not too distant future, good men and women like those that serve in Iraq, will decide that the United States isn't worth fighting for and the blame will be squarely on the shoulders of the DemocRat Party.
