Who builds nice AKs?
I've been looking around for an AK104 but not finding one quite right so am thinking of inventing one. here are my thoughs: Milled receiver, 7.62x39 chamber, .308" (not .311") bore, AK104 front gas tube/front sight/manifold, peep sight on receiver cover, picatinny rail welded to original sight base, ACE folding stock, FAL pistol grip, paint over park finish.
Give me some ideas fellas, I've been thinking about this project for a couple of years and bouncing from AK to Valmet to Galil and back again. If it's done right a custom job should be better than all. |
