gastubealignment
thanx to those that replied i would like to know if slot at end of gas tube should line up with hole in site gas block . one way u can see right into block and it appears thatit would easy o clean or should tube be lined a different way

The slot in the gas tub lines up with the vent hole in the gas block. The gas regulator then can be adjusted to vary the amount of the hole that is open, to allow for more or less venting as you adjust the gas system. The two small vent holes in the sides of the gas tube should then be at 4 and 8 o-clock. Install the gas tube by threading it in all the way, then back off till it lines up. Don't forget to install the small pin. Ratas
