Are Cetme and HK G3 stocks the same?
I am working on a new project and wanted to know if the HK G3 and Cetme stocks are the same size at the point were the slide into the mounting bracket.
It would be nice if they were. |

I swapped out a black Cemte set for a green G3 set on CAI Cemte. I had to move Cemte stock internals over to the green set to make it work. The pad that the bolt runs up against during firing is defferent in the G3 set. Not to hard. Also had to drill out plastic spacer in G3 set that hold stock bolt. The Cemte stock bolt was slightlyt larger in diameter. The G3 set is much nicer set and has sling attachment point. Took me about one hour. The dimensions where the stock meets rear of receiver where the same. maybe slightly tighter fit for the green set. The contrast of the green stock set againt the black metal look very good to my eyes.

The furniture may be the same but the hardware is different.
