Thumbs up Please Mom, Can I have One For Christmas?

Potato Cannon that is. This is a book on "Backyard Ballistics," and while not technically firearms, they do use fire, in a sense, to propel a 1/3 pound projectile down range.
Put a supersize container of McDonalds fries in and you've got "grapeshot."
Imagine a year of fun for all between the covers of a book.

It has been the fault of both pacifism and liberalism in the past that they have ignored the immense burden of inherited evil under which society and civilization labour and have planned an imaginary world for an impossible humanity. We must recognize that we are living in an imperfect world in which human and superhuman forces of evil are at work and so long as those forces affect the political behaviour of mankind there can be no hope of abiding peace.

A Mississippi rutabega would have quite a ballistic advantage over the lighter potato, wonder if we could find some milsurp?
Is there any advantage to loading it with hairspray over the deoderant spray?

I found six ounces of Goex to be the proper load.

Hey Bill. You did that in something more substantial than a PVC tube, didn't you?
There is a source for rifled barrels for these things. We used to pop away at the jet skiers on Bath Creek years ago. The lead on those things was amazing!

Simple to make and a bunch of fun. Mine works best with the cheapest hairspray I can find. Spray about a 5 second blast after loading the potato, screw in the cap, push the ignitor.....BOOM! Mine will shoot a potato around 150 yards on a good day.

You're still picking PVC out of your a$$?
No wonder you've been so cranky of late.
