Source for long recoil springs?

I made a semi Sten gun( used modified AR15 lock work + 16" barrel) for a magazine article that Im writing which uses a recoil spring on a rod rather than the large FA type. I need a spring 5/16" x 12" x .045-.050" wire size. Anyone know where bulk long springs can be bought by the hobby gunsmith. The Brownells #71 kit had 12" springs but were to heavy on wire size. Any help would be appreciated, Steve

You might try Wolff directly or try Falcon Arms. Falcon is marketing FAL and 1911 springs. They might be able to direct you or line you up themselves.
