Pretty sure that they are no more illegal than SBR's and Full auto weapons. All fall under NFA regs. As long as you meet ATF criteria and are approved by local LE, your good to go. Anyone who is more knowledgable than I PLEASE correct me.

Here in Vermont, supressors are illegal under Fish & Wildlife laws. Afraid of the silent deer jack ya know

Sound Suppressors are legal, though they're regulated under the NFA/ class 3 items. Depends on your state of course.

I think a lot of people are getting into them now with the death of the AWB. During the ban, the silencers were considered flash-hiders, so they couldn't be put on a post ban gun, now you can suppress FAL/AR's to your hearts content.

how are they canning they're rifles illegally ?
explain yourself before you accuse anyone of anything..

you have to go through all the bs for the can only, it can be put on any thing you choose and changed to another any time as well..as long as its a can for like caliber..

so how are they thinking it legal, ??explain...

I've never said this to another man before, but you have a nice can!

I'm right behind everyone else here, DETAILS !

Are you a machinist?
What type of machine did you make it with?
Where did you find the plans?
Materials?
What's the Db reduction?
I've become rather interested in them lately and would like some info if you or anyone can provide it.
I'm well versed in the alphabet boys' BS, I'm looking for technical info.

Yes i am a machinest and i have a class 7 manufactures licience.

The suppressors are made of a US made 304 stainless steel and they are getting better then a 30db noise reduction.

I don't have any internal photos and the design for the can has been in the family for a long time sort of speak.

I was manufacturing them for Ops and also Troy ind in 5.56,7.62 and 6.8 and i am currently working with Rock Creek Barrels on the .338 suppressor

sweeeeeeeeet, is it QD? Is it threaded right at the end of the barrel? If not how much of the barrel is covered by the can?

This model attaches to the weapon using a muzzle break and an adapter that goes over the barrel.
The threads on the outside of the adapter and the taper on the adapter assure alignment every time.
These suppressors are constructed with the best quality stainless steel and are fusion welded.
The over the flash suppressor design only adds around 3.5” to the length of the weapon and will achieve a 30+ db noise reduction.
These suppressors can be fired wet or dry. All of RD’S lines of suppressors are designed to be maintenance free and are self cleaning.
RD Systems lines of suppressors are designed to meet US Military standards.

Physical Specifications
7.62mm
Diameter 1.5 inches
Over all length 10.5 inches
Length past barrel 3.5 inches
Weight 1.6 lbs
Material 100% 300 Series Stainless Steel
Finish Black
