Early Argentine lugged barrels - same as M1/M2 barrel?

I know i've probably asked before, BUT

is the lug on the argentine lugged barrels the same as the lug found on Belgian M1 and M2 rifles?

yes they are I am not claiming to be the expert but I have had both an argy and a belgian lugged barrel and they look the same. Maybe there is some difference I can not detect with my eye and maybee Dean knows something I do not , in fact I am sure he does. But the bayonet interchanges and so does the GL. other than the fact the ARGY barrel had no marks other than a number on the chameber and the Belgian was proofed all over I could tell no physical difference

I KNOW that the Argy lug is the same as that used by Israel.

I KNOW that this lug is in a different location than a Belgian make G1.

for whatever it is worth...

i know the lugs are different than the G1

it's the M1, early belgian issue FAL that i'm curious about.

building a clone of this rifle would be MUCH easier if you weren't limited to the generally shot out or pitted to heck M1 barrels i've seen.

Hello the Argy will work fine for a clone. The M1 having the open ear and M2 with closed ear gasblock. Plus the Belgian BBLs are hard to find and quite costly if in good shape. Thanks
