Have you ever heard of the H&R T223?
Supposedly, the T223 was an H&R-made clone of the HK 33, and saw very limited use during the Vietnam War. Was there really such a thing as the H&R T223? The picture below shows a special forces soldier in Vietnam with either an HK33 or T223.

The T223 is an HK 33 , H&R was the importer and marked the guns T223. They initaly did this for the SAWS program. Special Operations Forces deployed in Vietnam aquired their T223 rifles from H&R as well, it is also speculated that they were being " field tested" in combat as part of the SAWS program. H&R however never made a HK33 as some suggest. They simply imported them and marked them with their designation.
