I've seen Bulgy Makarovs that are in good shape that would fit the bill. Fellow close by me has one that is about 85-90% for about 170 out the door if this helps out.

Have you tried a P38? Don't know for sure if they're Curio Relic, but I really enjoyed mine.

Bulgarian Makarovs are not C&R, however, they are cheap enough to be shipped and transferred through an 01 for less than $250 total, if you find the right deal.
P-38's, can be C&R, if they're wartime production, Manurhin production, or older than 1955 production, however, they cost more than $250 in most cases, especially Wartime production models. Most of the "P-38's" you see at the wholesalers are post-war P-1's with alloy frames that are not C&R. Right now, there aren't a ton of C&R pistols for less than $250. There's plenty of good deals in non C&R surplus pistols, like Star BM's, but it's a slow time for C&R pistols now...at least in that price range.

How about a .25 auto with more than a bit of history, for $150.00?
![]() Courtesy of Fray Bentos, fellow Faloholic... This is an early Lignose model 2. Aktiengesellschaft Lignose of Berlin were the successors of Theodore Bergmann of Suhl, taking over the Bergmann factory in Suhl and taking over the patents of Bergmann after WW1. The earlier production models are marked 'Theodor Bergmann Gaggenau Waffenfabrik Suhl' and bear no mention of Lignose, but the designs are quite distinctive and should not be confused with the earlier Bergmann pistols. PM me with your email and I'll scan the relevent page from 'German Pistols and Revolvers 1871-1945'. Copy of a Browning (not sure which one) in 6.35 auto, not sure if that is called 25 acp over here.

Any firearm over 50 years old is C&R. Check around for some pre-war handguns. Also a lot of modern guns are C&R, like all the Colt and Winchester commeratives. Old Model flat top Ruger Blackhawks, Winchester M64 rifles etc etc.

There are a few Nagant revolvers about - teeming with history and cheap. Also been seeing a few British WW2 Enfield revolvers in .38S&W, I reamed the chambers on mine and shoot .38 special wadcutters.
