WTK Value of Trilux Unit
Okay, I will most probably be placing this up in the Marketplace, but I didn't want to be out of line on price. I have an older Trilux unit; it was attached to my FAL when I bought it. It doesn't have the IR illumination, and the rubber eyepiece is gone. It may have been refinished, but the optics are still very clear and usable. I would be selling this with the Trilux top cover, and the connection piece ( I think it's called the cam, I'm no expert). The pins that anchor the cam to the top cover have been sheered, so the previous owner tried to spot weld the cam to the cover. I fired about 200rnds through and it fell off. I would be selling or trading the whole set as is. What are the going prices for this kind of stuff? I saw a top cover like mine at the local gun show, and the guy wanted $70 just for it. At the same show some other dealer was trying to sell a new unit with the IR illumination for $350. Sorry I don't have access to a digital camera, so I can't post pictures. Please fill me in, so I get a fair deal and make someone out there happy. Thanks all.

W/O seeing yours, I would be hesitant to place a value on it. However, here is a site that has them for sale...........
http://www.amerisurp.net/scopes_trilux.htm edited to add: I have seen the replacement lights for sale for around $20, and I have seen the rubber eyepiece for sale as well, just can't remember where!! Maybe you can figure out a range from it. Good Luck! |

Scope only w/o the rubber or illuminator, you might get $75 or $100 for it. You can usually get the whole works for $250.
