Zeiss "Orion" / Eltro Night Vision??? (pics)

Good evening everybody..................

I just picked up an earlier Zeiss/Eltro night vision scope, and would love information about the specific unit I just bought.

I'm thinking it's 2nd generation(?), STANAG mounting, and know it runs on "C" cells. I've seen pic of these on HK's, and have seen a South African version at:

I'm planning on throwing it on my (when I get it) Sarco Stanag Mount on my R1 "copy".

Well, I dont have any ifno for you, but I have questions

Where did you get it? What do they go for? Have you went outside after dark and checked how it worked yet?

Well.....I just won it on Ebay, paid less than what a PVS2 is going for, and it should arrive in a few days...........
