m48 yugo front sight

Like many, my Mauser hits about a foot high at 100yds. I WECSOGed a slightly taller sight. It worked fine, but eventually blew apart.

I read somewhere that some Mausers (Swede?) have a taller front sight. I thought I'd do it right this time and swap out with one of these.

Any of you have any experience with this?

actually, the Swede I have, the front is too low too, with the ammo I have.

check Brownells. I'm too lazy to find and post the exact link, but they have a plastic sight with the same base size as most Mauser sights. it is sized extra long, and you just trim it down till you get on target.

measure, then you know what height you need.

of course, if you're lazy like me, and the sight is protected with a hood like the -48's or Swedes you just leave it in there.

if you don't find it on Brownells, post here and I'll be glad to look it up for you.
