Wanted to add another positive thread for Rich at CGW rather than only tack on to the other posts posted about CGW. Rich went above and beyond on my build providing practical advice and recommendations based on what I needed. Meeting him in person at his shop only reinforced the positive impression he established over the phone and by e-mail. As a former active duty special missions type and current DOD security specialist I have used and been exposed to numerous weapons, customizing and smith work and Rich is up there with the best, more so because of his specialization and expertise with the FAL. Because of his attention to detail and pride in his product I will definitely go to him in the future and recommend him to anyone I run into that is looking into an FAL, and in the future, 1911 build. Thanks again Rich and good job!

I hate to see this thread die. I know exactly how you feel about your CGW build. Rich built my first and so far only FAL. I sent him a new DSA barrel and a ratty pile of leftover FAL parts which came from several SA and G1 kits. He sent back a work of art with one of the best triggers on any of my long guns. Its also a tack driver. Have a kit of all new para parts and another kit of new and excellent G1 parts ready to send Rich in the future. If you have an idea for a project, CGW will build it.
