forward scope mount

i want to know if the dsa railed fore-end is stable enough to mount optics. i would like to rid myself of the top cover scope mount from dsa. anyone tried this?

For the price on that thing....I sure hope so. It better cook, clean, and do laundry, too.

While I don't have any personal experience shooting a rifle with this setup, I have seen a few and they seem quite solid.

This being said, Grenadier Precision is working on a Scout mount for the FAL so it may be worth waiting a little bit.

is there a link or contact info to stay informed to thier progress? I,m all about a "scout" set up! Never mind after I looked I found it, but no info on scout mount. http://grenadierprecision.com/

Sure, you can't go wrong with producing a high-quality part that is in demand, then yanking it off the market, and replacing it with a waiting period for another completely different part that ... is..also...in high demand. By the time they get production going, maybe they'll yank it and replace it with "grenadier precision cocking handles" or some such.
