Working on a SBR build. Undecided if I want to go with the DSA Para folder setup, or go with just a para bolt carrier and para railed dust cover so I can cut down a regular stock.
I"m used to the Sully stock on my AR, so I'd like to get as short as possible. Anyone have a length on the para stock? Can it be cut down or otherwise reduced in length? |

DSA has para bolt carriers. They are like $99, but they are new and available.

I didn't see any at their site, besides the para lower set.
Is there any way to WECSOG a standard carrier to Para configuration, or is it just simpler to get a regular para carrier? |

Part #P033 @ $94.95 each. I have bought quite a few from them and haven't had any problems with them.

D'oh, evidently I missed teh entire section at DSA called para parts
Now I just need to decide if I want/need the para folder or cut down a standard stock. Thanks ![]() I'd still like a cheaper used para carrier if anyone knows where one can had. I can refinish it if nothing else. |

Do keep in mind that when you are building an NFA firearm (in this case an SBR) you don't need to meet 922(r) - the imported parts rule. Since you don't need any US made parts it doesn't make much sense to pay the extra for the DSA part.
You may find somebody who would trade you an imported bolt carrier - plus some cash - for the DSA part though. |
