Site slow to load
Was fine yesterday but it's taking at least a minute for each page to load tonight - except for DB which is only a little slower.
![]() This is with Broadband. All other sites are loading as per normal. Anyone else got the same problem? |

Same problem here, unbelievable delays at both the office and the house and both are high speed setups.

Same problem here as well guys. I have a high-speed set-up too and I'm hard pressed go get a page to load within a minute. All other selected sites are still screaming and load quickly.
The FAL Files have gotten very Slooooooooo....Like watchin' P-nut butter drip. What's Up???? -KIT- |

Insufferable isn't it?
These spates seem to coincide with the disappearance of the "server busy" messages for contributors. Frankly, I'd rather get a "server busy" message than have to stare at this while I wonder WTF?

One would think that my connection speed should not be an issue.

It's a toss up guys..
If I lock up the server so it loads fast we end up with the dreaded "Server too busy" messages.. if I open it up and let the server load go higher, then the site loads slower than molasses. We're working on the hardware related issues and planning for a new server which should eliminate the issues, but it's not going to happen over night.
